Wage: $23.15 per hour.
Hours of work: Hours of work can vary between 10:00 am – 4:00 pm.
Join our team at Newton Lodge, a reputable and welcoming establishment committed to providing exceptional service to our guests. We are currently seeking a dedicated and proactive Room Attendant / Housekeeper to support our hostel’s daily operations and ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for our guests.
As an Room attendant / Housekeeper, you will preform cleaning and housekeeping duties. The responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Room Attendant / Housekeeper Responsibilities:
- Ensuring guest rooms and common areas are clean, tidy, and well-maintained.
- Changing bed linens, vacuuming, dusting, and replenishing toiletries.
- Reporting any maintenance issues or damages to the management.
- Assisting with laundry services and ensuring timely delivery of clean linens.
- Maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor while interacting with guests.
- Adhering to health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the hostel industry or in housekeeping or guest services is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Bilingual skill is preferred.
